IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

What to expect from a surf lesson

We encourage you to arrive 15 minutes before the start of the lesson so that we can check you in. It takes 5 minutes to change into your wetsuit and head to the beach, where your instructor will start with an introductory lesson on land to explain basic techniques (board handling, paddling, standing up) and water safety. Afterwards, we’ll paddle out to the surf zone and start working on finding your first wave! The rest of the lesson time will be spent riding more waves, improving your technique, learning all about surf etiquette and ocean knowledge. All lessons will be adapted to your skill level.

Who will be my instructor

Your instructor will be an experienced member of our team. All are certified by the Portuguese Surfing Federation and IPDJ and highly qualified to provide high quality surf instruction for all levels.
